Amazon’s WoW factor

The CEO Jess Bezos tells about the WOW factor and the success secret of Amazon. Amazon makes the customers’ say  “WOW” by selling the premium products at non premium price.

One of Kindle Fire lightweight tablet was priced at $139 whereas Apple’s cheapest iPad was $239.

Jeff says “We hope to make money when people use the devices not when they buy them”

They started the first “MayDay” button – first ever 24/7 customer support – all technical queries solved instantly.

Why is Amazon a success? – Putting the customer first which is easy to say but difficult to do do.

The key factor is the customer service that the Amazon provides to its customers.

After all Amazon’s slogan is “The earth’s most customer-centric company”

The investment on Kindle in 2011 turned out to be a right decision. Today Kindle is a part of daily life 🙂
